Every life science research team's needs are different, but contemporary labs are often designed as one-size-fits-all, high-end biopharma workspaces. Building and outfitting this kind of lab is very expensive, restricting opportunity for developers to established, expensive biopharma hubs.

I began my practice in lab development over a decade ago with the realization that life science labs can be created at much lower cost through a flexible, modular approach that can be subsequently modified for any use, from "Class A" [biopharma] lab space, to the needs of a plant science, or a biomanufacturing team.  

Over the past decade, I have designed and built over 100,000 square feet of lab space, and have saved clients 20% - 40% of the cost of a traditional life science lab - even for those Class A spaces! Through a rigorous, science-led process, creative use of existing infrastructure, and a keen focus on the needs of the clients rather than the wish list of a developer, I create great places to do research.
